Main points of the story

1. Catherine often forgot to close the door when she left. Her husband, Joseph, always reminded her not to forget. To solve the problem, she removed the door and carried it with her. Since the door was heavy, she hung the lunch basket on the handle. Her solution was silly because carrying the door was much harder than just closing it.

When Tarun fell sick, Raman visited him briefly and only gave him money instead of support, which hurt Tarun. Later, after recovering, Tarun worked hard to return the money. When Raman fell ill, Tarun stayed by his side, showing true friendship. Raman realized that friendship is more valuable than money, and they reunited with a deeper bond.
