Day 1 Tuesday Date : 15 April 2025

Main points of the story	Chapter 1: Cath and Wren move into college. Wren wants space and chooses a different roommate, leaving Cath feeling nervous and alone. Chapter 2: Cath meets her tough roommate Reagan and Reagan’s friendly friend Levi. Cath feels out of place and overwhelmed by college life.
New Vocabularies found	Flopping, nodded, apparently, brezzy, whirling, siege, scuttle.
Comments	This already feels quite exciting even though it's still the first chapter.

Main points of the story	Chapter 3: Cath struggles to write with Reagan and Levi always in the room. She feels uncomfortable, lonely, and overwhelmed at college. Chapter 4: Cath starts her fiction writing class and feels nervous but inspired. She also has lunch with Wren and her roommate Courtney, but still feels left out.

Comments	Exciting and make me increasingly curious.

Main points of the story	Chapter 5: Cath and Levi start talking more. Cath is still shy but starts feeling a bit more comfortable around him. Chapter 6: Cath and Wren have a small talk. Cath misses how close they used to be, but Wren seems to be pulling away.

Comments	Cath is shy but slowly feels better around Levi because he’s kind and friendly. She misses Wren a lot, but Wren is pulling away and changing. It’s a bit sweet and a bit sad.

Comments	It's sweet how Cath feels closer to Wren when she finds out she's reading her fanfiction. It's like a small connection between them. Working on the writing project with Nick sounds interesting too, getting to write with someone else could help her grow as a writer

Chapter 10: Cath feels stressed about school and talks to Nick, but he doesn't understand. Levi walks her back to her dorm, showing support. Cath has a conversation with Wren about their past and their mom.

Comments	It's nice that Cath gets to spend time with Levi, and him making her a special drink shows he cares. It's also sad that Cath is worried about her dad. She seems stressed with school, but it's sweet how Levi always supports her.
